What a Week!

Well, this week was supposed to be a nice relaxing and laid back week, but so much for that. My student was in Memphis for the NCAAB Tourney. They won their games until last night and lost to Tulsa in overtime. That sucks but they played hard. Well, since he was there I didn't have work this week. I thought that I would be able to relax and enjoy but nope... I was busy with studying and trying to clean my apartment, none of which got completely done.

Since triggering for the IUI I have been testing every morning to see when the trigger would be gone. I was getting positives from Mar. 3 - Mar. 11, 9 days. Before my trigger only lasted 7 days max. Well on Mar. 12 I got a negative so I though alright it is finally out of my system. Then on Mar. 13 I got another positive. It wasn't really dark but you can easily see it. I thought that maybe it was the trigger but everyone said that it should be gone by now, which is what my brain kept telling me. On Mar. 14 I got another positive but lighter than the day before and today's if it is there is much lighter than yesterday's. I am guessing now just using brain knowledge that it might have been the last little bit of the trigger and hopefully it is all gone now.

Other than that things have been the norm basically. Well, except for one thing! Dh finally got his green card! I could jump for joy and run to the mountain tops and scream! We have been waiting for this since Jan 4th 2006 and now finally on March 12th 2008 we received it. It doesn't really change our lives that much, except that now we can go and visit dh's family for the first time in 8 years! We are both really excited to go and his family is even more excited. When we go we are going to visit all of his friends and family members as well visit all of the touristy towns and of course COX's Bazaar. Also, when we go, we want to get remarried/renew our vows kind of thing. His family wasn't at our wedding so we want to redo it going all out this time so that his family can be part of it. Our original wedding was just a few of dh's close friends here and we did it in LC the next town over. Our friend did the ceremony for us and dh and his roommates cooked all the food. It was nice and intimate but it was not traditional really at all. In Bangladesh the wedding last for 3 days with lots of celebration and food and good times. I can't Wait!!!! (Now I just have to get enough money saved up for tickets and stuff!)
